Founded in 1993 as "Nightmare Inc." by Nightmare Danny Davis, the OVW School of Professional Wrestling served as the official developmental territory for both WWE and TNA Wrestling. Over 200 internationally-recognized wrestling stars have trained here.

In 2019, OVW became the first state-certified trade school for professional wrestling. Students don't just learn wrestling; they gain real-world experience performing on our live weekly television show in front of studio audiences.

Full-time students attend 4-5 days a week and receive comprehensive training in sports performance and nutrition, production and digital media, writing for professional wrestling, financial management, on-camera presentation, character development, and in-ring skills. The program culminates in a residency where students join OVW's active roster, performing at live events and televised matches on OVW RISE and Pay-Per-View events.
