TORONTO | LOUISVILLE – The stars of IMPACT Wrestling return to the Bluegrass State on February 21-22 for two live events broadcast around the world alongside Louisville-based Ohio Valley Wrestling.
On February 21, IMPACT Wrestling presents Outbreak from the Lexington Ice and Recreation Center located at 560 Eureka Springs Drive in Lexington, Kentucky. The following night, February 22, IMPACT Plus presents Sacrifice live from the historic Davis Arena, home of Ohio Valley Wrestling, at 4400 Shepherdsville Road in Louisville, Kentucky. This event features IMPACT World Champion Tessa Blanchard taking on X-Division Champion Ace Austin in the main event. It will air on the IMPACT Plus subscription streaming service.
Doors will open for both events at 6 p.m. with a 7 p.m. bell time. Tickets are available at https://ovwrestling.com/events/
The last time IMPACT Wrestling and OVW joined forces was for the unforgettable Clash in the Bluegrass event in March 2019, which sold out and set a new attendance record at Davis Arena.
OVW serves as IMPACT Wrestling’s developmental territory. As part of the agreement, IMPACT Wrestling management looks to OVW when scouting new talent and those on the developmental roster earn opportunities to appear on the flagship weekly show IMPACT!, which airs nationwide on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on AXS TV and is also broadcast in more than 120 countries around the world.
“IMPACT Wrestling has a long history of collaboration with OVW in developing new talent,” said IMPACT Wrestling Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore. “We look forward to partnering with Al Snow and the OVW team for two live events this month as we make our long-awaited return to Kentucky.”
“OVW is proud to bring high quality family entertainment to our community while providing our athletes and trainees opportunities to be seen on a national stage,” said OVW CEO and owner Al Snow.
With more than 1,000 television episodes, OVW is the longest running professional wrestling series broadcast on local television in the U.S. The series is the signature of the company’s elite training program, which boasts more than 150 alumni who went on to international fame in professional wrestling, including John Cena, Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton.
