Corey Storm, currently 1/2 of the OVW Tag Team Champions along with Dimes, made his WWE television debut on January 3, 2020.
“Competing inside a WWE ring has been a dream of mine since I was 6 years old,” Storm said as we caught up with him the following day. “Last night, that dream came true as I competed on WWE 205 Live.”
Storm teamed up with Anthony Wayne to take on the Singh Brothers in tag-team action on WWE 205 Live.
Competing on WWE television at such a young age draws a parallel pattern to Storm’s career to date. At age 18, Storm already has the OVW Tag Team Championships on his resume, as well as the distinction of being the youngest OVW Television Champion in history.
According to Storm, the accolades and opportunities have been hard-earned by determination and perseverance.
“My journey has been filled with many ups and downs, hardships, obstacles, and setbacks, but I’ve stayed persistent and remained true to myself,” Storm said. “I never would have imagined at just 18 years old, I would be fortunate enough to live out my dream at such high levels. My journey has only just begun. The best is yet to come!”
